Hyven “Haitian Sensation” Charles is a grammy nominated, business veteran/artistic mogul, television personality,  who began his career training under the prestigious Baba Obediah Wright at Balance Dance Academy. While there, he studied a variety of dance styles such as Ballet, African, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Tap. Additionally while at Balance Dance Theater, Hyven undertook a rites of passage initiation for young boys which ingrained in him a strong sense of self-respect, loyalty, and discipline.

 

In addition, Hyven has also trained under Aubrey Lynch, former Artistic Director of the Harlem School of the Arts, Desmond Richardson, Co Artistic Director of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Hope Boykin,  Alvin Ailey Principal Dancer, Frank Gaston, former video choreographer Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, and Kat Wildish, World Renowned Master Ballet Instructor/Former ABT Principal Dancer. 

 

To date, Hyven has performed in music videos for upcoming artists such as “1V”, performed live on the “Carmen Mathis Show”, and also performed on ABC Television's “The Chew.” Hyven Charles, has performed at the Audelco Awards, Stars of New York Dance, the VIVE Awards, and Marriot Hotel.
